SCHEDULE, PAY & BENEFITS:
• Schedule: is 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm.
• Part-time pay will be between $31,900 and $47,664 for the year. This salary range is based on licensure level, education, and experience and the Part-Time FTE.
• Benefits: Though this is a part-time position, there is a basic life insurance policy for which DATA pays for all employees. In addition, there is a pension benefit; and DATA pays almost 2x the employee percentage on all pay earned toward the employee’s retirement account!

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Applicants must have a valid NMPED School Nurse license and experience in school-based nursing: completing and submitting state reports, conducting screenings, communicating with faculty and families etc.
• A minimum of 2 years of School Nurse experience is preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including patient assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support the health and well-being of students.
• Educate students on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Assist in emergency situations and handle airway management as required.
