Siembra Leadership High School—New Mexico’s first entrepreneurship-focused charter high school—is seeking a visionary CEO/Superintendent to lead its next phase of growth and impact.
This executive role oversees a 66-person team and a $12M+ budget, driving strategy, innovation, and organizational excellence in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
The Chief Executive Officer/Superintendent reports to the school’s Governing Board.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead organizational vision, strategy, and growth
• Serve as the public face of the school
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including New Mexico Public Education Department and Albuquerque Public Schools
• Oversee fundraising, grants, and legislative advocacy
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and financial oversight
• Lead and align senior leadership team
Qualifications
• 3+ years of educational leadership experience
• Professional New Mexico 3B administrative educational licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Knowledge of charter school operations and compliance
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and complex organizations
• Strong relationship-building and strategic leadership skills
• Deep commitment to equity and non-traditional (“at-promise”) students
Preferred: Experience in charter school growth, fundraising, or entrepreneurship education

Salary Range: $165,000-$190,000 Compensation will be based on experience and successful background check.
Contract Days: 250
