Job Description:
- Deliver engaging and standards-aligned instruction in accordance with district and state curriculum requirements.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to support critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Provide targeted interventions for students based on formative and summative assessment data to address individual learning needs.
- Administer and analyze assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance learning and promote student engagement.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate the diverse needs of all learners, including those with individualized education plans (IEPs) or requiring differentiated instruction.
- Establish and maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment by implementing effective behavioral expectations and management strategies.
- Facilitate student-led inquiry, discussions, and activities that encourage active engagement and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development to refine instructional practices and stay current with educational trends.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and achievement.
- Plan and facilitate hands-on, real-world learning experiences that enrich and deepen student understanding of key concepts.
