· Plan and implement a program; including Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, that meets students’ needs, interests and abilities and goals and complies with State Department of Education minimum standards.
· Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum or program goals.
· Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, assignments, units and projects, and communicates these objectives to students.
· Provide technical assistance and consultation to students for curriculum integration.
· Utilize instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
· Create an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest level of students.
· Establish and maintain standards of appropriate behavior and discipline needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.
- Assist in the supervision of students’ campus wide.
· Evaluate the learning progress and provide progress reports, to students, parents and sponsor teachers, on a regular basis.
· Prescribe effective programs and/or initiate referrals to appropriate personnel when appropriate.
- Provide directions and materials for substitute teachers.
- Plan for and supervise classroom aides, guests and volunteers.
· Provide routine maintenance for equipment used in the lab.
· Researches and preview hardware, software, and other technical related materials.
· Maintain an information data base for assigned sponsor students.
· Communicate sponsor student progress to students and parents on a regular basis.
· Other duties as assigned by administration.
