Salary: $25/hour
Job Summary:
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role requires good communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a willingness to learn.
Admin Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Input vendor invoices in QuickBooks
- Reconcile school payments and vendor payments
Accounts Receivable:
- Assist AR admin as needed
- Occasional/As Needed:
- Pick up mail at the post office (Eubank and Candelaria)
- Scan mail
- Make check deposits at the bank
Payroll:
- Occasional/As Needed:
- Process payroll, act as a backup person when payroll admin is unavailable
Additional Responsibilities:
- Various projects as mutually agreed upon, such as, but not limited to, assisting during audit season (August-September)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiarity with Gmail, Google Docs, and Adobe
- QuickBooks experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of office equipment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
