Sun Mountain Community School is a public Waldorf-inspired charter school in Santa Fe, NM, where we strive to create inclusive, supportive classrooms that honor each child’s development.

We are seeking a Special Education Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position works closely with teachers and support staff to assist students in the classroom, both individually and in small groups. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is patient, collaborative, and committed to supporting student growth.

Qualifications include:

• NM PED Educational Assistant License
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
