Sun Mountain Community School is a thriving Waldorf-inspired public charter school in Santa Fe, NM. Our program supports students academically, socially, and emotionally through a thoughtful integration of the arts and sciences.

We are seeking a Sixth Grade Teacher to join our middle school team for the 2026–2027 school year.

Sixth grade marks the transition into early adolescence, with a focus on critical thinking, structure, and the exploration of the physical world. The ideal candidate brings strong teaching skills, confidence in guiding this developmental stage, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications include:

• NM PED Elementary (K–8) or Middle School License (5–9)
• Experience working with middle school students
• Interest in Waldorf pedagogy
