Position Overview

Masters Program Early College is seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher to teach Entry Level Dual Credit Math Courses and other high school mathematics courses. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, skilled in fostering student growth, and committed to creating an inclusive classroom where all students can thrive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Mathematicsstrongly preferred
    • Eligibility to teach high school mathematics in New Mexico
    • Experience teaching dual credit or college-level math preferred
    • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to support diverse learners through differentiated instruction
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Commitment to culturally sustaining pedagogy and student empowerment

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach dual credit and additional high school math courses
    • Design and deliver high-quality, engaging instruction aligned with curriculum standards
    • Monitor and assess student learning to inform instruction and provide individualized support
    • Build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
    • Collaborate with faculty, school leadership, and postsecondary partners
    • Participate in professional development, school events, and continuous improvement efforts
