Special Education Director for SY 2025-2026

Description: The International School at Mesa del Sol (TIS) is a public charter school to begin its sixteenth year of operation in August 2025, offering a tuition-free International Baccalaureate curriculum and instruction in grades pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.  Our students are diverse, covering central New Mexico's geographical area of more than 50 square miles and 21 different zip codes. Class sizes are 20:1 (K is 18:1 with an Educational Assistant).

Benefits:

Benefits include health insurance and retirement. Salary is based upon years of full-time teaching experience and formal education when a contract is offered.  TIS uses an education/tiers/years of teaching experience pay scale and meets all state requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master's preferred
• Current New Mexico teaching certificate in specified field
