Monte del Sol Charter School seeks an experienced and motivated Career Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator to lead, develop, and oversee the implementation of high-quality CTE programs that prepare students for postsecondary success in college and careers. Our pathways include agriculture (sustainability), arts and film, computer science, and hospitality (culinary arts). This position is dependent on grant funding.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all CTE and dual credit programs at the school.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal CTE regulations, including Perkins V funding requirements.
- Coordinate and support curriculum development that integrates academic and technical content aligned to industry standards.
- Collaborate with school administrators, counselors, teachers, and industry partners to expand and improve CTE pathways.
- Oversee work-based learning opportunities, including internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and mentorships.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to program performance, student outcomes, and labor market alignment.
- Support professional development for CTE instructors and staff to ensure effective instructional practices.
- Maintain and expand partnerships with community colleges, businesses, and workforce development agencies.
- Coordinate advisory committees for each CTE pathway to ensure relevancy and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage CTE budgets and resources efficiently and transparently.
